Graffiti as a form of expression in the classical world has helped gain understanding into the lifestyles and languages of past cultures, displaying phrases of love declarations, political rhetoric and simple words of thought. Moving indoors, the current era in Graffiti in art galleries as perceived in this curation, exploits messages of personal and social ideals with an arsenal of various materials that include digital media. Viewed in this context, Lining the Wall' has three young minds coming together to sow the seeds of an emerging cross over culture and thought, using this spontaneous art form like a can of aerosol with far reaching effects. Combining Graffiti  with digital art gives the indoor exhibition a new dimension, the apt one where line and colour are stretched to its potential.
The three artists have used their personal statements to tag their works together with some elements that are typical in this form of expression like lettering and stenciling, bold use of colour, dynamic use of space and stylized rendering.Absence or presence of any other form of 'Graffiti' is purely incidental.
